The specific feature of the sealed I/O modules is that they allow the use of a remote‐power supply. This means that the same cable transports the bus signals (1 pair) and the power supply of the modules and attached sensors (2 conductors).
The remote power supply does not involve the outputs, therefore power to the modules must be supplied using 24 VDC outputs. Output modules: TSX ESF 08T22 (8 outputs) and TSX EMF 16DT2 (8 inputs and 8 outputs).
These modules have a connector specially designed for this purpose.
