Il y a quelques jours j'ai voulu transférer une application rebuildée sur une nouvelle version de Control Expert, dans une configuration Hort Standby sans arrêter le système.

J'ai donc transféré l’application dans le Standby et voulu faire le swap pour que cette nouvelle version soit Primaire.

IMPOSSIBLE, le CPU avec la nouvelle application reste en WAIT.

Après une recherche et quelques questions à des collègues (Merci à Jacques F), j'ai la confirmation que suite à un "rebuild all", il n'a jamais été possible de mettre à jour une configuration Hot Standby sans arrêter aussi le Primaire.

La documentation ne le dit pas expresséement mais on trouve :

NOTE: Do not perform a Rebuild All Project because the Standby CPU may not switch to the RUN STANDBY state after the program download and RUN. The swap from Standby to Primary cannot be performed.

Application Mismatch
An M580 Hot Standby system cannot operate if the primary and standby CPUs are equipped with fundamentally different applications. In this case, the primary PAC operates as a standalone PAC, and the standby PAC enters the stop state.

Seule Solution actuellement et depuis toujorus que j'utilise depuis des années :

• Dans la configuraiton de la CPU onglet Hot Standby Cocher Allow logic Mismatch
• Dans la configuraiton de la CPU onglet Configuration, Cocher Online Modification in RUN or STOP
• Effectuer la modification en ligne dans le Primaire
• transférer du Primaire au Standby par le menu Automate -> Transfer le Projet du pPrimaire au Standby
  • ou en mettant à  TRUE le bit du device DDT : ECPU_HSBY_1.CMD_APP_TRANSFER
